3D Felted Art

Large vs Small

The most fun I have had working in 3D has been to create miniature figurines of famous visual artists and musicians. Measuring  at a towering six inches, these little people were (mostly) giants in their field, except maybe for the Shetland fisherman who has become a kind of mascot. They are highly detailed and take many hours to make. As a result no one wants to pay me what the figurines are actually worth. Of the two marked sold, one was priced as a loss leader and the other was a retirement gift.  If you really press me, I might be prepared to sell the Queen - but be prepared for sticker shock. As for Vincent, I am open to making a few more if commissioned. Of course, he would have to be wearing a different work of art. Prices start at $200 CDN.
